Housing Options and Assistance for AIU Students

Whether you're interested in AIU Los Angeles student housing because home is far away or because you want more time to meet and mingle with other students from the school, it's a great option. AIU Los Angeles students are not housed in isolated dormitories, but rather are integrated into a community-where beaches, running and bike paths, restaurants, clubs, bars, and shopping can be a short walk away.

The AIU Los Angeles Housing Director handpicks apartment and condo complexes in Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Culver City, and LA County that are student-friendly, centrally located (none are more than five miles from the AIU Los Angeles campus), close to public transportation, and most offer full amenities (think pools, exercise rooms, Jacuzzis, laundry, and 24-hour security).

All apartments are two-bedroom/two-bath and shared between three or four students. Apartments are smoke, drug, and alcohol free and are inspected regularly to ensure they continue to meet AIU Los Angeles' housing standards. Rent is $2,300 per academic quarter for students sharing a room or $4,000 for a private room (within a shared apartment).

For those students who qualify for financial aid, be sure to speak with your Financial Aid Advisor about the possibility of including your housing costs in your financial aid package.
